A Sense of Reality

Suffering is caused by the identification of the Egoic consciousness overshadowed by the phenomenal world. Limitations of the individual ego see only a reality that we are separate from the experienced material world. These external forces in our world perspective that seem to be the cause of suffering are our thoughts projected into personal actions as an existence apart from us. It’s due to our habitual patterns of thinking and our belief structure that was set in motion from birth.

A sense of identity, what and where is the valid point of reference, who are we, and is it a genuine sense of existence? The impermanence of personal identity reality reveals the false nature of an ever-changing landscape leading nowhere. A mind caught in a false separation from an external environment in constant fluctuation. Superficially the Mind feels in control as the doer and identifies with the actions and the consequences. It is this misidentification by the Mind that causes impermanence and suffering.

The Self-realization of consciousness is all there is does not see itself through distinction; it sees itself through Unity as the wholeness of expression. The holistic value of the ‘what is’ arises in the occurrence of many forms and phenomena—the ultimate reality in guise, the ever-unfolding worldly appearance in the variety of Oneness. There is only one thing going on here: the transcendental consciousness seeing itself underlying and pervading expressed reality. Transcendental Oneness sees itself as the many in appearance.
