Mind Games

Freedom from suffering is the road to peace of mind and is the end of the attachment to conceptual thinking in which we believe our thoughts and actions to be actual reality. It is easy to conclude and resign to a materialistic view because this world is seen through dualism. It’s all around us; many parts seemingly separate from one another, and it is the only reliant guiding principle we have been used to in this world of objectivity. It is a vast field of conceptual reality to easily get lost in.

The actual reality of dualism is that it is playing out in the appearance of a perceiving happening and not knowing anything about it. It is just happening. When the ego/mind steps in, giving everything a personal meaning and a purpose, the result becomes resistance to what is, a constriction in consciousness and perpetual longing for release—the primal suffering. And all of this occurs in a constantly ever-changing field of self-perception. The world is as we are, but it is not personal.

However, everything is already perfect and accessible; the ego/mind in constricted conscious awareness thinks it is not. It is an illusion within the already always freedom that is and ever will be. This freedom has always been and cannot be captured by a personal dream illusion. It cannot be objectified, and, in the end, it is also beyond any subjectivity. It shows up initially as intent, a whisper of the ‘I’ within, and then projects its potential energy into the multidimensional strata of the universe, including our 3D plane of existence. And therein is the arising, an expression of reality at any given moment, and that is all there is. No past, no future, just one thing going on, and this is it. Personalizing what is with a sense of doer-ship or blaming any circumstantial outcome on the other keeps us within the restrictive dimension of a bound and limited ego/mind.
