EFFECTIVE SPIRITUAL MODALITIES TO GENERATE HEALTH, HAPPINESS, AND WELL-BEING TO ENLIVEN CONSCIOUSNESS

One can read and gather all the information on any given subject and still, in the end, come away dissatisfied the learning experience was not optimal or as expected. This is true for anything, especially for self-improvement or self-help healing programs. Especially programs that offer what appears to be a personal fulfillment of a need or desire.

A combination of intellectual understanding and practical application is necessary for advancement in any project, or program one undertakes. The problem is that as good as the information may be and the appropriate technologies allow, there is always a disparity between the recipient’s level of conscious ability to exact what is being promoted.

The average drop-out rate for most self-improvement programs is well over 80%. It is not always the person’s fault, the information provided, or the applied methodology, but a combination of all. The personal expectation is always high, and invariably not all courses promoted are a mutually harmonious fit.

Here, what is offered is simple, effortless, and easy to incorporate into any lifestyle. This is the one key factor; if it were arduous, most would eventually shy away. That is not to say that there is no work to establish the best scenario routine.

Spiritual progress, self-improvement, the road to well-being can be said to be an endeavor. One must focus attention on what one believes to be beneficial. Even though philosophically speaking, and I agree, some spiritual teachings advocate effort and endeavor to hinder actual spiritual growth. It depends on which perspective one is viewing reality.

There is a constant energy transfer from a relative physical standpoint; work is being done, no matter the case. From a higher consciousness, a Self-realized state, any job or other doings are being done, but there is no doer—quite the paradox. Even though there is an apparent energy displacement on one level, at the ground state, only a virtual probability of occurrence exists at the quantum field level.

What is put forward here is in the apparent doing of spiritual self-improvement work; whatever the expression, it is primarily effortless, ever sustainable. And the only struggle that may appear is one the narrow-minded ego has introduced to derail any progress.

Above all, this platform recognizes the ideal meditation technique, Transcendental Meditation, which is to dive into the depths of consciousness in a natural, straight forward manner. Effortless is the keyword here, uncomplicated, spontaneous, mirror the unbounded, infinite Self. The slightest limitations within a meditation practice keep one in the relative field of experience. In addition, Transcendental Meditation has been scientifically peer-reviewed in critical areas for its efficacy in improving psychophysiological health.

Believe it or not, the highest goal of spiritual enlightenment, Self-realization, goes hand in hand with peak health and well-being. It takes a strong, well-adjusted, and exceptionally tuned nervous system to sustain higher levels of consciousness. Additional meditations offered here are also patterned as effortless and transparent; this is the essential leg of the practical application of Nondual teachings.

A profound meditation technique should culture silence. This is not the ordinary silence where you want things to be quiet. This silence is known at the depths of one’s primordial Self. A meditation that allows the mind to rest within itself beyond the ego-sense. A deep-felt silence compatible with its surroundings, no matter what is happening.

Seated alone or with a group of meditators, away from distractions, is preferable, but as one becomes accustomed to the meditation, what will be found is that the deep silence dominating stability within will seem separate to the outside goings-on, even though it is all one happening.

Seated in the Self, the ego has relinquished its control over the mind through effortless meditation. There still may be some chattering of the thought mind, but it is also in the distance of what is happening; it’s all-inclusive and all naturally acceptable. This type of effortless meditation, as an analogy, is the Rocket Ship to Mars rather than the bus to the beach.

The other aspect of Nondual teachings and culturing silence through meditation is complete self-investigation through intellectual understanding. It is not just reading books on Nonduality but placing into mental exercise salient information to recondition the ego/mind and behavioral patterns.

We can meditate all we want by culturing silence to the point where a shift occurs, and that deep essence of silent presence becomes a lived reality as Self. Still, the inherent personal conditioning from the past and present may preclude any self-realization. The habituated ego may come back to hijack any realization as “my realization.”

It is not uncommon that ego comes in as strong as ever to claim ownership of the spiritual journey. During such times it’s a matter of vigilance and where one’s attention is placed; the non-doing unbounded Self, or the little personal ego trying its best to manipulate any outcome.

And it is more than taking care of the individual ego; it is also the interrelated web of life, the collective ego-sense. Where sheer numbers of the world population still exhibit a low level of consciousness awakening. This has a stronghold effect on all of us.

Working on self-improving through reconditioning the behavioral patterns of the mind and culturing silence is a step forward in raising one’s conscious awareness and bringing up the numbers in higher collective world consciousness to a degree where global benefits will be felt.

As stated previously, this site promotes Transcendental Meditation, but that does not mean it is the only positive meditation technique available. We support any effortless and results-oriented meditation practiceas key to planningto explore spiritual growth.

Self-inquiry is a practice of redirecting attention away from external objects, events, and experiences and towards the experiences within your body and being, including subtle experiences within awareness itself. We investigate these inner experiences as objects and go beyond to find what we call the Self.Self-inquiry is designed to shift our focus from the world of form to Beingness.

Belief structure and behavioral modification of past egoic patterns set in place for thousands of years churning the same reality of limitations need to be altered.Re-aligning with the truth that consciousness is all there is, and you are consciousness isan actual reality for the highest spiritual advancement of the Soul. This isa belief system that reflects the true nature of reality.

Again, in this section, I will turn to excerpts from a book by Deepak Chopra, The Shadow Effect — Illuminating the Hidden Power of Your True Self, Part I, The Shadow 2010 Harper Collins. The passages are a collation of paragraphs, and sentences gleaned from the book and are in italics. Another great read with lots of in-depth investigation.

With both nostrils, inhale and exhalea long deep breath several times. Check nostrils are relatively clean. Next, using your thumb and index finger or third finger, block one nostril with the thumb and inhale a moderately large breath, exhale quite fully. No strain involved.Release the thumb and block the other nostril with the index or third finger and inhale the breath and exhale. Now repeat by unblocking the index finger,

I am a teacher of Transcendental Meditation and promote this technique not only for its simplicity and effortlessness but for the benefits it provides on all levels of life, spiritual and physical well-being.
