It is a matter of reality perspective that offers insights into the true nature of the Self. In the contracted state of consciousness or self-awareness, there appears to be a need for the individual to know something, to find something. With this, everything seems to be solid within this contraction perspective. As consciousness contracts, it crystallizes its expression to the extreme surface levels of reality of objectivity, and the appearance of solidity is defined as a limitation within this contraction. These limitations within the space of unbounded consciousness represent the diversity apparent as a personal self and an objective environment separate from the individual. When the recognition of unbounded consciousness is revealed and limitations are seen for what they are, an illusion, it is not that something has happened or is new; it’s an awakening to what has already been the case all along. And to be clear, it is awareness, the consciousness, that wakes up to the illusion of a separate personal self.
At any given time in this journey of self-discovery, from the narrowest of limited conscious awareness to the ultimate realization of truth eternal, there is never anything to be added, such as the state of Oneness. It is only a consideration of memory and lifetimes conditioning, set as ego/mind identification, clouding what is already always present. It is already oneness, the nothingness appearing as something. It is all there was, is, and will be; this is it.
